Daylight Savings Time 2007 Patch
Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP
- You can begin to implement the patch by downloading the following file:
Executable (EXE) File (798 KB)
If your system blocks you from downloading an EXE file, you can also acquire the patch through two other formats:
Archived (ZIP) File (793 KB)
Archived (RAR) File (792 KB)
(You will need a program such as WinRAR or WinZip installed on your system to open these archived file types.)
- When you click one of the above three download options, you may receive a message like this:

You will have two options to choose from: Run the application without saving it permanently to the hard drive or Save the application to a desired location on your hard drive.
If you select Run, you may receive the below message. Click Run to install the patch application.

If, on the other hand, you select Save, you may receive the below message. Click Run to install the patch application.

- When the patch application is installing, it will automatically detect which version of Windows you have installed on your system and install the corresponding patch. A window like this one below will appear to inform you that it is copying the needed files for the patch:

Once the patch has finished being installed, you will receive the following message inside the same window:

- If you want to test that the patch is working correctly, just set the date and time to March 11, 2007 at 1:59:55 AM. Once the time goes past 1:59:59 AM, it should then change to 3:00:00 AM, confirming that the patch was successfully installed. Remember to reset the date and time back to the current date and time after running this test.
